My Give-It-A-Tri race is 1 week away and I’m feeling pretty good. I went down to Lake Shore this morning and ran for 45 minutes, followed by a 1 km swim. On Friday, I was able to get down to Toronto Island and swim in the lake which was good to get my confidence up for the real deal.
I have a busy week with volunteering, a wedding, personal training, dragon boating, Landmark, and preparing for the CCNM Class of 2015 Orientation Week, so I hope I will be able to keep up my Try-a-Tri Training.
I still need to figure out what I will be wearing for the swim and bike portion of the mini- Triathlon. I was told today at the Can Fit Convention that if I am not wearing a wet suit I should swim in quick dry biking shorts and top because there’s no time/place for changing.
What do you recommend?
