I was sharing with one of my clients today about my insecurities with my ‘Body Image’ (see a previous post here) and how the mentality of ‘Never Enough’ is exhausting and futile. He recommended a video from TED Talks by Brene Brown that I found incredibly enlightening and empathetic to the fears of vulnerability. She highlights the importance of courage, compassion, connection and vulnerability:
1. To have the courage to be imperfect
2. To have compassion for yourself
3. To connect with authenticity and letting go of what you think you should be
4. To embracing vulnerability to love, belong and feel worthy
