The Gathering is taking place this Saturday and Sunday, November 5th and 6th, 2011 at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).

With the hope of instilling a new sense of passion, vision, unity, and focus into the study and practice of naturopathic medicine, CCNM is excited to play host to students from across North America for The Naturopathic Gathering 2011.

The purpose of this weekend assembly is to bring the elders of Naturopathic medicine together for a conversation with the new generations about vitalistic medicine in practice and theory.  In doing so, attendees will deepen their understanding of Naturopathic philosophy by bringing together students, doctors, and elders in a safe, spirit-filled space for the Vis Medicatrix Naturae to work within them.

Attendees to this “story- telling festival” can expect to nurture mind, body, and spirit with brilliant keynote speeches and small-group sessions amongst an up-lifting and inspiring atmosphere.

The focus this year will be on the Diversity of the Vis. The vis medicatrix naturae, like everything else in life, is a deeply personal and universal idea simultaneously. We ask that you think about this topic and bring your understanding and insight to share with fellow attendees so that we can teach and learn from each other.
