    Day 1 is off to a great start! As I await for my marathon-running friend to help me create a training schedule, I took the initiative to get a good workout in today:

    • 40 minute stationary bike (15km) – hill program at level 12
    • 20 minute treadmill run (3.5km) – interval training at 6.0-7.0 mph, incline of 1.0
    • 45 minutes of biceps, triceps and core power sets – 15reps, 10reps, 6reps, 8 one rep max

    My greatest fear is the swimming so I plan to get to the Sunny Side/ Gus Ryder Pool this week before my dragon boat practice. Wish me luck!
