It doesn’t seem like a huge achievement for me, right now, but when I think of the past years when I was too afraid to even think about doing it, I can see how far I’ve come. I think I may even do another one next year, and possibly a Sprint Triathlon!
Here are the different types of Triathlons:
Sprint 0.75 km swim, 22km bike ride, 5km run
Olympic 1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run
Half-Ironman 1.2 miles swim, 56 miles bike, 13.1 miles run
Ironman 2.4 miles swim, 112 miles bike, 26.2 miles run (yes, that’s a marathon)Thanks again for all the support. And a special thanks to Zev for doing the race with me (and waiting for me at the transitions site) and Jon for coming out to cheer us on!
