What is naturopathic medicine? Naturopathic medicine is a system of health care that uses natural techniques and therapes to diagnose and treat conditions.
Find out more about naturopathic medicine, including who it is right for, and what naturopathic doctors commonly treat.What happens during a visit? A detailed medical history will be taken, noting contributing factors, current health status, and treatment progress. Visits include physical exams, laboratory and diagnostic testing, as needed, as well as treatments.How long is a typical visit? Naturopathic visits at the BNTC may last up to 60 minutes.How much does it cost? Visits and treatment at the BNTC are free of charge*. Prescribed products, such as supplements, are not provided free of charge. Parking is charged according to the hospital rates. *Naturopathic care is not covered by OHIP, but the BNTC is underwritten by CCNM and LHIN. The typical cost of a naturopathic appointment in the community ranges from $100-$150.
The CCNM Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic is operated by the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine through collaboration with the William Osler Health System and Central West Local Health Integration Network.Congratulations CCNM for this remarkable opportunity.
